Happy Zombie Jesus Day everybody. For the next few days, I'll be drawing human characters from [Sketchpad] who are VERY LOOSELY based on people I know. Keep in mind that I may exaggerate or completely make up character traits for these people and should no way be reflected upon the person they're based on.
Anyway, this dude is based on my best male friend, Ben Helstad. In the context of [Sketchpad], he and JD have been friends since they were little kids and do pretty much everything together. Ben is really smart, so much that he comes off as sort of a know-it-all sometimes. He's a very kind, empathetic, optimistic person and is pretty much friends with everyone. However, Ben can be unintentionally sexist sometimes, in that "women are fragile creatures and need a strong man for protection" kind of way but all in all, he's a good guy.
